My children and husband are not all raw, sometimes not even
vegetarian. The main problem with this is, somehow I am the
designated cook. My husband burns water out of the pan, so
you'd think raw preparation would work well for him. I am
constantly in the face of temptation for yummy cooked foods,
and being newer to raw foods I find it difficult to resist
at times.
So I have devised a system that seems to work for me. Which
is simply, to make my meals ahead of time, for instance the
night before, and have a snack before I begin preparing
dinner for the family. Then I serve whatever they are
eating, take my meal out of the fridge, and serve along side
what I am eating. This serves two purposes, they try what I
have and get a great raw item in their meal without knowing
it, and I do not feel like I am starving and have to eat the
good smelling cooked food that I know I don't really want.
Problem solved.
